Jr. Flyer football includes 6th, 7th and 8th grade registered Lindbergh School District students. Teams will be formed by each grade. Kids cannot play up or back, they will play with their respective grade. We encourage you to take advantage of the 2 weeks of summer camp. Forms and additional information can be found on this website.
Practices and games-

Practices will be held during the week, with games being on Saturday mornings. Practice will begin the first week in August. A practice schedule will be released as soon as completed. Home games will be played at Lindbergh High School and away games will be held at the away team location. All transportation is the responsibility of the parent. Game times are as follows, 6th grade 9:00 AM, 7th grade 10:30 AM and 8th grade at noon. Times are subject to change.

Equipment-

Your child will be provided with the following equipment- helmet, shoulder pads, belt, mouth guard, and game pants. Game jerseys will be provided for 6th grade, as well as new players in 7th and 8th. Returning players that want or need a new jersey will be charged $35 for each jersey needed. Fittings for jerseys will take place during the second week of camp. We encourage you to get your child's jersey just a tad bigger, so he will be able to wear it a few years. Equipment distribution and jersey fittings will be after the 2nd week of camp. The exact dates are tbd.

If your child has braces or appliances, we suggest that you go to your orthodontist to get the proper mouth guard to protect your sons teeth.

You will need to provide shoes, athletic supporter, practice pants, practice jersey and water bottle. We will have a package put together at a great price, closer to the season, with the practice pants, practice jersey, integrated game pants and a few more items.

Cost-

Your league fees will be as follows

Early registration discount-

Register by midnight Friday June 16th cost is $275.00.

June 17th - July 13th cost is $300.00.

July 14th and after cost is $325.00.

We will also need a check for $100 for your equipment deposit. The $100 check will be returned to you when the equipment is returned. Your league fees can be paid on line with PayPal when you register. If you are unable to pay online, you will need to contact Donna McNamara to make other arrangements.
PLEASE NOTE-As 98% of our helmets are 1 season old or less, we will be requiring the parents to sign a waiver that if the helmet is damaged due to negligence, the parent will be responsible for the repair to that helmet.

Physicals-

ALL players must have a current physical, dated after February 2017. Standard doctor forms will be accepted, or the Lindbergh form is online. Players will not be allowed on the field to practice in August, until a copy of their physical is received.

If you need a physical and cannot get in to your doctor, we will have another option for you in the next few weeks.
